“THE C WORD” comes to Wellesley, March 29

On Thursday, March 29, 2021 (7-8:40 PM) at the Wellesley Free Library (530 Washington Street, Wellesley), the Wellesley Cancer Prevention Project (http://www.wccponline.org/) and the Library are jointly sponsoring a screening of “THE C WORD” – an inspiring documentary film narrated by Morgan Freeman, and directed by Meghan O’Hara (who’s made several films with Michael Moore including Fahrenheit 9/11, Bowling for Columbine, and SICKO).

With a dose of good humor, heart, and a touch of rock-n’-roll beat, THE C WORD reveals the forces at play keeping us sick and dares to ask: if up to 70% of cancer deaths are preventable … what are we waiting for?
